White Cliffs of Dover
mattsanger92 (10/04/2009) The white cliffs of Dover is part of a British coastline that is mainly composed of chalk, limestone, and flint, giving it a unique white appearance. Situated either side of the southern English port town of Dover, the cliffs are made more significant as the first sight of Britain from people entering and leaving the country to mainland Europe by boat. The white cliffs are also large and bright enough to be seen on the other side of the English Channel in France. |
