This is a weird square in the middle of an island off the coast of africa.  There is a small villiage on the island to the northwest many miles away.

The building, owned by Gateshead Council, provides a home for international music performances and participation. Annually The Sage Gateshead hosts over 450 performances and approximately 700,000 people visit the landmark building on the Quayside of the River Tyne. None of this would be possible without the resource that the building provides.
