The Red Star Stadium (translated as the Stadion Crvena Zvezda, and nicknamed the Marakana (after the Brazillian stadium)) is a football stadium in Belgrade, Serbia. As well as local club Red Star Belgrade, the 55,000-seater stadium is also home to the Serbia national football team. It was also the main venue of the 2009 Summer Universiade (an Olympic-style event for university students around the world).
