Phoenix Park is the largest public, urban park in Europe. The following are within the park:
- The Aras an Uachtarain (the President of Irland's residence)
- Dublin Zoo
- The Papal Cross (a massive cross erected for a visit by Pope John Paul II in 1979)
- The Wellington Monument (a 200 foot obelisk monument for the victories of the Duke of Wellington)
- The Deerfield Residence (the US ambassador to Ireland's residence)
- much more
It even has a herd of Fallow deer that have been present since the 17th century!
