The Olympic Stadium was originally built in Berlin for the 1936 Summer Olympics.  After WWII occupation, the UK used it to house their military headquarters.

Now, it's primarily used for football (soccer).  The 2006 FIFA World Cup was held here, causing a massive renovation.

And the renovation seems to have succeeded -- that's a pretty sweet stadium...
