Ben Nevis is a mountain near the town of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. At just over 4,400 ft (1,344m), it is the highest mountain in bosth Scotland and the British Isles. It is popular with climbers, (around 100,000 per year), although most choose to use the easier footpath to reach the summit.
