Kwajalein Atoll, part of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, was the site of weapons tests along with the rest of the U.S. Pacific Proving Grounds. However, this atoll escaped the fate of nearby atolls, locations of nuclear bomb tests. One of Kwajalein's main use was the Ronald Regan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site.

The barge you see was intentionally sunk as a breakwater.
