The great wall of China built to protect the great Chinese Empire from attack.

Like an enormous snake, the Great Wall winds its way up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching for around 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles) from the east to the west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have long disappeared. It remains though, one of the greatest tourist attractions around the world due to its scale and historical value.

Thats a serious piece of wall but why is the satellite imaging so 'all over the place'? Is it because its China and they would have shot the satellite down if it got too close..
