Estadio Centenario, Montevideo

The Estadio Centenario, in Montevideo, Uruguay, is a 70,000-capacity football stadium and the long-time home of the Uruguay national team. It is also used often by the famous local club, Penarol. The stadium is famous for hosting most of the matches in the first-ever FIFA World Cup in 1930, including the final where the hosts overcame their fierce rivals Argentina 4-2.
