Ernst-Happel-Stadion, Vienna
mattsanger92 (10/21/2009) The Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna, Austria, is a football stadium used primarily by the Austrian national team. It does host some club games, however, most notably domestic cup finals, some European Cup finals over the years, and big matches involving local teams Rapid Vienna and Austria Vienna. The stadium became most notable for hosting 7 games in Euro 2008 due to its status as the largest ground (53,000 seats) to host games in the tournament, with one of these games being the Final, where Spain defeated Germany 1-0. |
