This is a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy, an Air Force cargo plane and one of the largest types of aircraft in the world, being refueled mid-flight by a Boeing KC-135 refueling tanker.

According to googlesightseeing, Google takes satellite images in 2 parts: 1 in high resolution, but black and white, and 1 in low resolution with color. The odd blue shadow is caused due to the aircraft changing position in between the 2 images.
